The New Horizons Band in the Pines, located in Moore County, NC, was organized in January 2008. There were 12 members in our first band. We have now grown to about 40 musicians. Our goal is to create a comfortable re-entry point for adults who have previously played a band instrument and would like to resume after long years of building careers and raising children, or who now play an instrument and would like to try another.
Support Us
New Horizons Band in the Pines has been growing and expanding over the past 10 years! Our music library needs to grow and develop with us, and for that, we would welcome donations in any amount. New scores generally range from $35 to $75 each. We also use donations to provide specialized instruction to help us improve our musical technique, knowledge, and performance. We are a 501(c)3 public charity so your donation is completely tax deductible. Our EIN is 26-2003809. Donations can be made by sending a check made payable to New Horizons Band in the Pines to our Treasurer, Miriam Ring at 400 Johnson Grove Rd, Vass NC 28394. Thanks for your consideration.
